Story

In 2006 I was presented with the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Award.

The Diana Award is a fantastic charity who support young people, their ideas, and their ambitions. It has to be one of the few Charities or organisations in the UK who listen to young people and take their thoughts and ideas for change and development seriously. I am, and always have been a very strong willed person, confident of my ideas and my view of the world. The Diana Award helps bring the voices of young people to a wider audience.

"We were founded in 1999 by the UK Government to act as a lasting legacy to Princess Diana’s belief in the power of young people to change the world.

So far we have given 36,000 young people from across the UK special recognition through our award schemes. Our award encourages these exceptional young people to continue building a better society for all.

Our vision is to promote a culture that celebrates young people from all sections of society who have made a selfless contribution to their community. By recognising the amazing work they do we can support and encourage young people to continue changing their communities for the better."

Please support me in whichever way you can.

Thanks!

JJ
