Story
Calling on ALL Fellow JJB Comrades,
Make a note in your Diary for OCTOBER 11TH 2009.
This is the momentous date when six brave individuals of all shapes and sizes will be looking to out run Paula Radcliffe in the Birmingham Half Marathon.
We are the finest bunch of naturally gifted athletes that JJB could assemble. Our team is made up of Chris Ruddock, Chris Jones, James Hardy (Birmingham 1012) Emma Wright (Bedford 205) and us – Steve Dyer and Phil Lewis, Region 500’s answer to Coe and Ovett!
Some of our team have aspirations of finishing in a respectable time; others have booked a week’s holiday to finish the course!
Inevitably we are running for Charity and on this occasion we have opted to raise funds and awareness for the Parkinson’s disease.
(Time to give something back to Sir David)
The Birmingham store is currently in the middle of a huge marketing campaign which will ensure that JJB get maximum exposure on such a World Event that is being covered by Sky TV.
The local press are very keen to run an article highlighting the positive PR on the back of this event.
JJB – BACK ON THE BOX!!!!!
This is where you all come in, we need your support.
The Birmingham Six!
