Bupa Edinburgh Great Run (10K) - Lyndsay and I have been teased about being sponsored for previously doing events that have essentially been considered as us just having fun.  This is irrespective of either or both of us perhaps suffering from a little vertigo (Sky Diving, Abseil) or being claustrophobic (Sphere-ing) at times.  We have decided to quash all attempts of us being seen as simply taking part in events just for fun and have finally agreed to do a 15-week training programme (starting w/c 18th Jan) in the build up to the race date of 2nd May 2010.

In memory of Granny Reynolds, who never had the opportunities and care options in the 80s that disabled people have now and for Granny Wilson who lived a long life until late last year, without the need for such dedicated care!
