The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

The WatesBlack Mountains Hike Charity Challenge, in aid of the Prince’s Trust, is a 50kilometres (31 miles) hike that takes in 15 climbs each at 660 metres or moreabove sea level. Located in the Brecon Beacons National Park in SouthWales, the area has some breath taking scenery.

The challengeis to hike the entire circular route in one go:

  • Distance of 50 Kilometers / 31 miles
  • Total ascent 1,858 Metres / 6,095 feet
  • Time 12 Hours
