My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On 20th May we will be running the Bristol 10K as a team of colleagues from work, raising some much needed funds for Survivors of Beareavement by Suicide (SOBS).
We will be very grateful for any help in raising funds for this very small and deserving charity that do an amazing job supporting those who have been bereaved. Suicide is sadly still very much a stigma in our society and SOBS is one of the very few charities that not only refuse for it to be hidden away but support those who are left behind. They provide a national helpline and support groups within the UK all staffed by volunteers most of whom have also lost someone to suicide.
On 3rd March one of us also completed an army assault course in Dorking (www.thenutschallenge.co.uk) which has already raised some funds for the same cause.

We exist to meet the needs and break the isolation of those bereaved by the suicide of a close relative or friend. Many of those helping have, themselves, been bereaved by suicide.
