UPDATE: Well, I finished it !!!! My dodgy knee held up and we got round in 6 hours and 59 minutes ... not exactly gonna challenge Paula Radcliffe anytime soon but hey, we did it !! It was ridiculously hot but it was a great day ! Never again though ... and yes, those bloody rhinos beat us !!!

Childline is a free 24 hour helpline for children and young people in need of comfort, advice or protection. Since its launch in 1986 Childline has given in-depth counselling to nearly 2 million children but it has never had the resources to answer every call. At present 4,500 children call for help each day but only 2,500 get through to a counsellor.

In 2005/06 over 1000 children called because they felt suicidal or had attempted suicide and Childline called ambulances for 28 children who called in the proces of suicide attempts. 28% of children said they had spoken to no-one about their problem other than a Childline counsellor.
