Thinking Of Oscar (https://thinkingofoscar.com/)

On 4th June I will be throwing on my first ever Tri-Suit, wearing my first ever wetsuit, swimming for the first time in open water and hopefully cycling & running my way to a finish in the Blenheim Palace Triathlon - in the aid of the brilliant cause Thinking of Oscar, a charity founded by my friend and colleague David and his wife Hannah.

Thinking of Oscar is dedicated to the memory of Oscar Cole, who unexpectedly passed away in June 2014, aged only 16 months.

The intention of Thinking of Oscar, from the outset, was to identify a cause which goes beyond one family’s tragedy to address an issue of broader social interest and the primary measure of success for the campaign will be the impact that they have collectively had in their lifetimes. Thinking of Oscar aims to relieve the sickness and promote the health of children, young people and their families whilst in hospital care across England through a range of activities from funding research to provisioning new diagnostic techniques and technologies.

It is a wonderful charity and cause which I am honoured to support.
