Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm doing this because my dad died of cancer when I was 21, but battled with it twice in his life, my grandparents also died of or with it, family members have won the fight, friends parents have died with cancer and friends parents are currently fighting it.  All these people have needed support in some way from professionals who specialise in this area.

Willen Hospice needs over £4 million a year to offer specialist care to their patients and their families, only 23% is funded by the NHS, so it is up to the local community and wonderful supporters to raise the rest of the cash to keep them here.  So I am joining lots of other ladies and walking around MK at Midnight on the 13th July, we'll see the sights of Midsummer Boulevard, Childsway, pass Gullivers Land, Great Linford, Stantonbury Fields, the concreate cows and the V6, that's 10 miles of foot work at an unsocialble hour.

There are four of us walking in a team, we haven't yet got a name, but will be in fancy dress....yet to be decided....thoughts have been 3 cows and a horse?  Who knows, but we'll be there, showing our support and raising money to help keep Willen Hospice here.
