<p>We made it !!!</p> <p>The three of us managed to make it to the top of Kilimanjaro ! It was tough - especially the summit climb overnight, but we got there. The guides and porters were very helpful, and there was a great team spirit amongst all 14 of us. Many thanks to everyone who has supported us in any way.</p> <p>Thanks for supporting the Smiles Foundation, which gives practical help to the vulnerable and poor in Romania. All of the money you give will go 100% to the charity, and none of it towards the mountain climbing trip. Smiles are particularly involved at present working with homeless familes, disabled children, and the elderly.</p> <p>We are looking forward very much to the challenge of trying to climb Kilimanjaro in July, and hope that we all return in one piece !!</p> <p>Thanks for your financial support and prayers.</p> <p>Jonathan, Olwyn and Robin</p>
