Story
I know there's been a lot of charity requests recently but this one is the most important, trust me. I am part of a 4 man team riding in a 24 hour mountain bike race in the Mendips on May 12/13. The event is organised to support CLIC, the charity that support cancer and leukaemia in children.
This is our thrid year and here are the highlight's of last year....
- climbing, and also descending of course, a total of 26,600 feet - 50 feet short of the 9th highest mountain in the world - Nanga Parbat in Pakistan (eclipsing the previous years effort of reaching the 22nd highest mountain in the world)
- covering 260 miles - the distance from London to Reims or more obscurely from Oklahoma City to Amarillo
- helping Team BOG (Bristol Old Gits) raise over £1600, with my own generous sponsors contributing £470
- and preserving what remained of my front teeth from the accident incurred the year before.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: CLIC will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
Cheers, James
