Please Help!!!
This Sepetember I will be attempting the Amsterdam300 Challenge in aid of SCOPE - Englands leading disability Charity with two of my colleagues Nick Butcher and Richard Pitts
The Amsterdam 300 : 300 miles : 4 countries : 2 days : 1 ride
We will be riding 300 miles from London to Amstedam in 48 hours! We depart from London when Big Ben strikes midnight on the Thursday for a night ride to Dover (could be interesting!). From here we pedal through France and onto Belgium where we take a rest ready for the final push trough to Holland and onto the finish line in the Dam Square in Amsterdam!
This challenge gives us the opportunity to truely appreciate the airpoprt connections between our London and Amsterdam offices - i doubt we will be complaining about easy jet delays or the Schipol Airport location again!
This is a massive challenge for the 3 of us as we will need to get some serious training in ready to stand up to the endurance element of the ride. We are riding in order to raise money for SCOPE and have set a target of £5,000 between us. All donations are hugly appreciated and will be going to a great cause.
On top of the fantastic cause there is also a high chance of me being humiliated by a group of militant cyclists who leave me stranded somwhere in Belgium en route - so that should be worth a quid or 2!
