This page has been set up to raise as much as we can for our chosen charity 'Slideaway' this is a charity that is very
close to my and my family's hearts. My brother was supported by them to help him learn how
to grieve after losing his dad James. 

James sadly lost his life to addiction, he tried his best to beat it, but unfortunately, time was not on his side. Most people don’t and won’t ever have to understand how addictions affect
individuals and their families but it’s devastating and something I hope you will never have to experience.  Slide Away is an amazing charity that provides support to young people who have experienced
the loss of a parent or sibling. 

We as a family can not thank them enough for the support they
provided to Jack when James was no longer with us in person.                  

So in memory of James and to celebrate everything Slide Away has done for our family and every other family they work with we have decided to raise awareness and money for them and the work they do.
