Story

As you may or may not yet know, I'm heading off to South Africa this summer to teach for 6 weeks. Excited!

As part of this trip I have to raise £250 to cover the cost of me getting there. I'm sure you'll all agree that this is quite a bargain, for what is surely going to be one of the best experiences of my life.

To help fundraise this money I'm going to be completing the Three Peaks Challenge. It involves participants scaling the three highest peaks of England, Wales and Scotland in 24 hours, including the time taken to travel between each mountain.

We start by scaling Ben Nevis (1344m), then driving 265 miles to begin the ascent of Scaffel Pike (987m), before driving a further 200 miles to reach our final conquest: Snowdon (1085m). All of this must be completing in less than 24 hours!

I hope you'll all agree this is going to be quite the challenge, but it's one that I think I will also enjoy too, as I've been wanting to take part in this for some time.

If each of you could just donate a small amount I'd be hugely grateful to you!

I didn't want to much too much on here to save boring you, but if you want to know more about the trip just ask me. Although I'm sure I'll be biting your ear off about it next time I see you, as I'm already getting rather excited about it.
