-WHO?
My name is Jack Auckland ('Aucky' to most people)
An ambitious and unfit 22 year old, from Chester.

-WHAT?
I have taken on the challenge to run the Chester Half Marathon on
15th May to raise money for the Hospice of The Good Shepherd.
This will be my first charity event and my first ever running event.

-WHY?
The Hospice exists to provide highly specialised palliative care for people living with advanced diseases from the communities of Chester, Deeside, Ellesmere Port and Rural Cheshire.

Our services are provided free of charge to anyone in medical need. These include Medical, Nursing, Social and Emotional support for Patients and their families.

Our annual running costs are more than £6,300 each day and we rely heavily on the community we serve http://www.hospiceofthegoodshepherd.com

Every penny donated will make an impact on someone’s life. I'm truly grateful for any money that you are willing to donate... Even if it’s just a pound or two!
