Based just up the road from Jack Towers, Penny Brohn Cancer Care helps people live well with the impact of cancer. The way in which they help people is known as the ‘Bristol Approach’. They provide a unique combination of physical, emotional and spiritual support designed to help anyone affected by cancer at any stage of their illness.

Your support will help a special MP3 project at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. The funds will provide 50 MP3 players preloaded with relaxation tracks, placed in the Chemotherapy Day Unit for patients to listen to whilst undergoing chemotherapy.

The MP3 players, placed at the hospital for easy access, will be used to help reduce cancer patients levels of stress and anxiety. In addition, if enough funds are raised, MP3 players will be provided to Penny Brohn Cancer Care Centre in Pill for use by clients on overnight residential courses.
