<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Les Bourgs Hospice in Guernsey has helped thousands of terminally ill people and their families for 18 years. &nbsp;Any terminally ill person in the island has been able to receive the highest level of care and apply to spend their days in the loving environment in the Hospice.</p> <p>Last year, I witnessed the compassionate care and attention the Hospice provides to patients and their families when my Dad was unfortunately diagnosed with a very aggressive brain tumour. &nbsp;Dad spent the last 3 weeks of his life in the Hospice and it brought great comfort to my family and friends that he passed away in such loving care and peaceful surroundings.</p> <p>In order to try and give something back to the Hospice I, and a couple of friends, have decided to undertake a sponsored walk of Hadrian's Wall in Dad's memory. &nbsp;The wall runs for 84 miles (135 km) from Bowness-on-Solway (near Carlisle) on the west coast of England to Wallsend (near Newcastle) on the east coast.
