</font></span><span style="color: #0000ff;">They are there from as early a point post injury as you want them to be, and will be there for you and your family for the rest of your life. Our services take the form of information, education, advice and support from our dedicated staff and team of volunteers. We offer these services to in-patients and out-patients alike and visit the national spinal injuries unit in Glasgow once weekly and on other occasions on request. Spinal Injuries Scotland is a registered charity which promotes the welfare of its members by providing: </span></p>

<p><br /><span style="color: #0000ff;">SIS offer an education service which is utilised by a diverse group of people, not just the patients who have been affected by spinal cord injury but their clinicians and other healthcare professionals, relatives, carers and students. They strive to make as many people as possible aware of not only the injury but of the work SIS does to assist in the rehabilitation process. <br /></span></p>
