I would never have thought that I'd ever be the kind of person keen to cycle to the gym, never mind from Paris back to London, but there you go! I can't wait! 

I first heard of the idea whilst on my manic Muse tour around Europe in October 2012. I met up with some good friends again at these gigs and made loads of new ones, one of whom was talking about this fantastical fundraising journey from London to Paris, on a bike, arriving in time to see my beloved Muse perform in the Stade De France. It's changed a little as we are now going from the gigs in Paris back to London. After enquiring a bit more and finding out that money would be raised for The Helen Foundation I was very happy to get involved.

The Helen Foundation provides support and motivation to young people in Teignbridge, South Devon to allow and encourage them to pursue careers in all branches of the Arts. This could be in the form of some musical instruments, a bursary to help someone towards a qualification or a Helen Foundation-sponsored workshop in a local school. Any money we can raise for this deserving charity is great, but lots would be fantastic!

 

So, cycling back from France.....It's gonna be hard I know, I've never been the fittest around (my Army colleagues will confirm that) but I'll give it my all for a great charity and hope you'll all support me by chucking some money into my JustGiving pot for The Helen Foundation.
