Redwings is the largest horse sanctuary in the UK, with over 1100 resident horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. It rescues and rehabilitates horses in need, re-homing them when possible and offering lifelong specialist care for those unable to live outside of the Sanctuary.

My name is Kate Scully.Me and my partner Ritchie Kowalski have decided to undertake a journey from our stable yard in Kidderminster to Llanfair Waterdine - Wales, to raise as much money as we possibly can for charity and also as a "small" life challenge! Starting on the 14th August this year we plan to ride our two horses along the Jack Mytton Way - a total of 84 miles!We plan to arrive in Llanfair Waterdine on the 18th August which is a total of 4 days riding at 21miles per day on average. This is real test for us and our horses, plus we will be camping!!!! We all know that thousands of horses are neglected (Lofty - Ritchie's horse shown in pic, was one of those horses) and are in need of medical care and a caring home. Redwings helps thousands of horses but rely on donations only. So please dig deep and help us help them. Really, really appreciate your help!! Thank you.
