Leeds RAG : Croatia Hitch · 5 July 2014

The Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital transfer service flying critically ill babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care. With our ability to fly approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, we can minimise travel times and the risk for patients.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be hitching from the Parkinson Steps at the University of Leeds all the way to Tisno, Croatia to attend Soundwave Festival with Leeds RAG. I and two others in my group have two weeks to hitch, walk, camp, sleep, sing, record, eat and float the 1,413 miles from Leeds to Croatia. The whole journey will be videoed and uploaded for your delectation to let you see what we get up to (potentially as we do it, depending on WiFi coverage!)

All expenses (Ferry, food, camping etc.) will be covered by me, meaning that all of your money goes straight to the Children's Air Ambulance.

This is in aid of the Children's Air Ambulance which does great work in transferring seriously ill children and babies to receive the life-saving specialist treatment they need. It receives no government funding and so relies on donations to raise the £134,000 it needs to run

Thanks for giving this a read and any donations will do wonders for the children of Britain who are in dire need of a really cool helicopter.
