Story
<p>I've been in the UK for my keys/piano and Bible course at Nexus for almost 8 months now. Before making the trip to the UK, I only expected to be here for 6 months due to my visa status. However, thank God for providing me an extension that allows my legal stay be valid till the end of the school year.</p>
<p>Even though I can only be at the graduation concert for the first night, my time at Nexus has been fruitful. There were definitely challenges that I had to face in terms of a massive amount of learnings, band projects, assessment, etc but at the same time the blessings I received from all my school mates and tutors are priceless.</p>
<p>I will be leaving Nexus and the UK in 2-month time but every year the Nexus student runs a fundraising event during the RAG (raising and giving) week. Due to the school fees we pay only cover 60% of the annual budget and the remaining expenses are partially fulfilled by donations from the alumni, Nexus partners, and church related organizaiton, the RAG week is always a crucial event for Nexus to keep its operation and ministry.</p>
<p>The amount of fund we raise this year will actually help the prospetive students coming for next year as well because the more we raise the less they will need to afford for the next year school fees. It is a legacy we would like to pass onto the future Nexus student and community too.</p>
<p>In coming years, Nexus also has a vision to establish a music college in South Africa to nourish more musicians for God's kingdom. Please also pray for the vision and projects Nexus is planning to accomplish in God's timing.</p>
<p>Please donate and support Nexus while most of our students and staff are taking the challenge to cyle from Coventry to Amsterdam and back (approximately 771km) in May for the RAG week event this year. I cannot take the challenge to leave the country because of my visa status but as part of the support team, I sincerely wish that you could help Nexus at the level you feel comfortable with.</p>
<p>Nexus is a school to educate and send out visionary Christian musicians with excellent musical skills and most importantly we all share the heart of worship to build the kingdom of God wherever you are. One day the music Nexus produces will be a wonderful blessing to even more people in this world.</p>
