Story

They have both been runners from an early age, have each run a good few half-marathons, and one (Jacky) or two (Mark) full marathons. They've never before run together in the same marathon, so London 2012 will be a first!

Mark really understands the importance of hearing since he suffers from severe tinnitus, partly resulting from and also affecting his career as a musician. He has previously raised money for Deafness Research through his running. Jacky has discovered the Ear Foundation as a result of people who work for the charity becoming friends through their local Nottingham church. Jacky is keen to support a local charity that is doing so much good within the community. All in all, Jacky and Mark are tremendously pleased and proud to be raising money for the Ear Foundation.
