Story

*UPDATE*

I completed the marathon in 6 hours 24! It was very tough, I had not trained anywhere near enough, and the second half took me almost twice as long as the first. I would never have gotten to the finish line if it wasn't for all the support and donations I received, so thank you so much everyone! xxx

OH HAI!

Anyone that knows me knows that I have not been able to run for more than 20 seconds since I was like 10 years old.

I decided it was high time I did something about my woeful level of physical fitness, and started running.

I have now stupidly signed up to run the 2012 Brighton Marathon, (that's 26.2 miles, or 42km bruv) and even more stupidly I have elected to raise money for the charity I work for: Resources for Autism.

This means I can't back out or everyone is going to think I hate kids and am evil and lazy.

Resources for Autism do fantastic work with children and adults with autism, and work with their families and carers to provide support, information and advice. Please visit their website, www.resourcesforautism.org.uk to find out more about the wonderful service they provide.

I really will be grateful for any donation at all, so even if you just want to donate £1 it would be much appreciated, and if enough of you do it I will SMASH my fundraising target, Tempa T style.

Many thanks for reading, please take pity on my poor feet and give me some monies!
