Hello you beautiful people!!
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those that know me or know of me, you will be aware of the obstacles that I managed to find myself in over the past few years regarding brain operation after brain operation after brain operation bringing my total up to 17 now (15 being throughout 2008-2009). The inconvinience of these interupted an important stage of my life and resulted in my confidence and self-esteem getting a huge battering.

A few months back, I was nominated by my college teacher to benefit from JOLt's amazing work- to go on a lifechanging 'journey of a lifetime.'
I was one of the very lucky applicants to get invited for an interview as the selection of applicants got reduced. I was very doubtful about getting chosen after thinking I had fluffed my chances, but to my astonishment I was congratulated on my success just a couple of days ago that I had been selected as one of the 24 young adults to endure this trip of lifetime this summer. As you could imagine, I was absolutely delighted!!!!

This journey will last 4 weeks, travelling all across South America. Its going to be a very tough 4 weeks battling through all sorts, travelling with 23 others in similar circumstances as me. In this time, Im looking to gain so much insight from other 'disadvantaged' people and hopefully build my confidence back up again so I can resume everyday life without constant confidence issues that currently affect me daily.

As part of this journey, I have been asked to fundraise atleast £650 to help towards raising funds for this chairty, so that others like me can benefit from the same experiences for years to come.
So here I am begging for you to help me make this happen, in the meantime I will be trying to think of all sorts of ways to raise awareness of this charity and other fundraising ways which involve me making myself look like an absolute fool.

Not using facebook for a week has been suggested, but I think that could send me offpar, however if it means it gets people giving then I can atleast try it!! Making impossible things happen...

Another idea was jumping out of a plane (if its advisable with a dodgy noggin') - preferably with a parachute of some sort, as long as I have a hunky guy strapped to the back of me, Im game for that too.

Not talking for a week, except in emergencies. Keeping my trap shut for 10 minutes is VERY hard work. Imagine a week!!!

Suggestions welcome...

So please dig deep and donate now, even the smallest of change will help greatly. I cant thank you all enough xx

You can find out all about JOLt and the work they do on their website:
http://www.jolttrust.org.uk/

(Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
