On July 4 2009 at 10:45am I am taking part in a sponsored abseil from the top of Guys Hospital Tower.  At 143 meters (469 ft) high, this is the tallest hospital building in the world, and the 11th tallest building in London.

Proceeds will go to Springboard for children.  This is an incredible charity helping children in inner City schools with learning difficulties to improve their literacy skills.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.  It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Springboard For Children gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me.  It is such a fantastic way to help children with learning difficulties who don’t have the opportunities that many of us have and often taken for granted.  Remember literacy helps build confidence.

I could do with the encouragement too, so if you’re around that morning you are more than welcome to spectate and support me on the day! :)

Thank you again for taking the time to read this and for your support.
