The Great East Sussex Scavenger Hunt Saturday 22nd October 2011

I’m raising money for the Russ Foundation, India. I visited the Russ foundation in 1994 when I was 17 and helped on site at their orphanage in Madurai. This year I am returning to Russ to see how the project has grown over the last 17 years. Russ now has many community projects including home for parentless children, vocational training, AIDS prevention and support and much more. My fight and accommodation have all been paid for by myself.
I have a target of £500 to rise. On 22nd October I will be completing the Great east Sussex Scavenger Hunt . I will simply have an all day train ticket and a map, and powers of persuasion. I’m not allowed to use my phone to call for help, or use money to buy items or additional methods or travel.
You can get involved by:
£10 pledge for an item to be scavenged
You can choose any Item you can think of, but keep in mind I can’t buy it (an given that I need a CRB for work – Please don’t list Items that may get me arrested !!) and remember I have to travel with it so no live animals !! Items Must be available in East Sussex !!
You can choose an item for me to bring back or to have a photo taken with!! Be creative, think of land marks in east Sussex, I’ll have a whole day – although the only form of travel I will have is train and foot (and powers of persuasion!).
You can add some mystery to your item if you wish and depending on how mean you are, by writing a clue to what it is.
If you pledge an Item that I don’t find – you don’t Pay !
£10 Entry to beat me
Join the Hunt and race me to the finish line. You will need to buy a Ranger train ticket, allowing travel all day on Southern Trains (£12.50). The same rules apply no phone and no money. You will start at the same time as me and aim to find more items or beat me back to Eastbourne with the whole list found. I/You must be back in Eastbourne by 7pm at the end point which is the Dew Drop Pub, South street. Where an independent judge will declare winning Items and if you have beaten me, and of course a well deserved end of scavenge beer to be enjoyed !!

The finish line is 7pm the Dew Drop pub, South Street, Eastbourne, grab a pint and welcome me and other entrants home!! Fingers crossed they will not have beaten me !!!

Enter: Inbox/email me to let me know you want to enter. Go to my Just giving page http://www.justgiving.com/Jaime-Naish pay the entry fee and in your comments write – TO Beat YOU or To Join you. Buy your ranger ticket (tourist information centre) Meet at Eastbourne train station at 9 am on 22 October 2011. You can work in teams but each team member must pay an entry fee.
Pledge Item to be scavenged: Now obviously I don’t want to cheat and pre-plan a route around East Sussex so you will need to email your Item/place to: bobby@splash-graphics.co.uk who will give all entrants a list of items on the day. If you write a clue, you must also provide the answer, although this will not be given to entrants. If your Item is found on the day, you will need to Pay your £10 via my just giving page or by cash at the Dew Drop pub, 7pm.
