Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is my first race after taking up running in September 2010 - thanks to my friend & neighbour who convinced me it was a good idea!

As some of you know Otis Murphy Hynes adopted us back in March 2010 and by raising money for LRRSE I can say a small thankyou for him!

The 5Tors race is pretty tough - 10 miles over very mixed terrain including a bog or two!

So please dig deep and donate now.

Just 1 week to go!!!

I've been training pretty steadily, I even managed a few sessions on the treadmill whilst on holiday.

I did a 3 mile cross country run with about 600 children on Friday 23rd March - running with Edie - 7 - I think I need her to come with me on the 1st April for motivation, she was fantastic.

Hoping to do most of the course tomorrow. Keeping fingers crossed that the weather will be ok on the day after getting caught in a downpour last week, making the rocks very slippery and the descents scary.

Did almost 10 miles on the moor on Sunday 25th March in just over 2 hours - it was getting pretty warm though. Followed up with a 7.5 mile road run on Tuesday - last big run before the race - much too warm so fingers x'd that the temp drops soon!

Thank you everyone for the support, I have Martin geared up to give me a good rub down afterwards!
