Story

Hello, Thank you very much for visiting my page!
My name is Jaki Knox and I ran the 2015 London Marathon for the charity Beating Bowel Cancer UK. I was thrilled to have been given the chance to support such a worthy cause. I was set the task of raising at least two thousand pounds in exchange for my place and I am delighted to have surpassed this target.
I have chosen to support this charity as last year we received the devastating news that my Uncle Willy was suffering from this disease. I am very lucky to be part of a very close loving family and the news that he was so unwell was extremely tough.
People who know me, will know that I hadn't ran further than a few half marathons but never taken on the task of running a full one.....so this was a challenge to say the least!! We want to continue to do all we can to help raise money to aid support and research for this awful disease.
Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated, along with words of encouragement :)
