There are a group of us from Rio Tinto Alcan at Lynemouth that have taken the challenge of cycling approx 177 miles from Lynemouth to Edinburgh. We will be attempting to do this over three days starting on 7th July. Also taking up the challenge are:

Ross Phillips, Mick McMullen, Colin Jardine, Andy Darling, Garry Thompson, Jeff Hope and adding much needed support in the team van - Guy Morton

We will be raising money for the Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund. They are a specialised fund in the North East of England that aims to enhance the lives of local disabled children and their families through the provision of essential equipment, learning aids and custom built apparatus.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and any donation will be much appreciated with funds going directly to the Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
