Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

I'm running the Dublin Marathon in aid of Fairbridge on Monday 26th October and am very grateful for your support.

Fairbridge is a charity that works with young people from 13-25 that other organisations find difficult to engage. It aims to give them self-confidence and the skills needed to change their lives. I am running to raise funds specifically for the Liverpool area where there are big problems with gang and drug-related shootings as well as a prevalent drugs culture. There are many young people with little family support, poor housing and health, and high levels of youth crime.

At the time of writing (mid September) I certainly feel like I have a bit of a mountain to climb and many more miles to go in training. I've done the London Marathon a few times before, but this will be my first overseas effort which I'm running with a couple of colleagues from Boodles in Dublin (where I'm currently working). It should be a good challenge - spare a thought for me on the day!

Thank you again for any support you can give.

Regards

James
