On 26th June 2011 I am competing in The Ironman Triathlon in Nice, France. For all of you that don't know what an Ironman triathlon consists of, it's a 2.4 mile sea swim, 112 mile cycle and a 26.2 mile marathon run.
I am hoping to raise money for St Lukes Hospice, a local hospice that provides care for terminally ill cancer sufferers around the Sheffield area, including my Auntie who sadly died of the disease in 2004.
The centre provides an invaluable service at no cost to the patient and relies almost entilly on donations to enable it to carry on running so please give generously.
