<p>Thank you&nbsp;for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Together with my Cousin Derek, Nephew Tom, Niece Gemma and her partner Blaine, we are aiming to run the Blackpool Half Marathon on the 11th March.</p> <p>The reason for putting myself through the pain, and cold winter mornings, is to remember my Mum who passed away very suddenly on the 10th September 2011.</p> <p>Put simply, she was the most important lady in my life and i miss her terribly. She was tenatious, loyal and forthright and above all she believed in her family and showed us love every day. She has been, and will contiue to be, an inspiration in my life.</p> <p>Understandably, it has been a very difficult time for my Dad, Jim. I have chosen Age UK as the charity i would like to support, for&nbsp;the incredible work they do with elderly people.&nbsp;&nbsp;My Dad was married to&nbsp; Mum for 47 years and is understandably finding life on his own very difficult. However, because of my&nbsp;amazing&nbsp;family, and a five month old beagle called Patch, he is learning to cope.</p> <p>I understand for lots of people it is a difficult time finacially, but if you can, please sponsor me in the Blackpool half Marathon on the 11th March in aid of Age UK.</p> <p>Unless i am&nbsp;blubbing on the finish line, i will post pictures after the race, for all my family and freinds.</p> <p>For you Mum.
