Update_02: "Bad news I'm afraid guys. Due to unsuitable weather conditions (low cloud and high winds in the drop zone) I was unable to do my tandem skydive yesterday (15.06.2011). After lunch time all flights and skydives were cancelled. My support group and I waited for the rest of the day for the weather to clear but it wasn't to be, I was scheduled to be on the next flight which was really frustrating. My skydive has been rescheduled for 28.09.2011, this is the earliest time that I could re-book. Thank you all so much for your continued support and donations, it means a lot".

I am going to be taking a sponsored tandem skydive to raise as much money as possible for the Parachute Regiment Charity in memory of my childhood friend Private Conrad Lewis, a Warwickshire hero who was tragically killed whilst serving in the Parachute Regiment in Afghanistan on Wednesday 9th February 2011. My skydive is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 15th June 2011 at the North London Skydiving Centre, Chatteris Airfield in Cambridgeshire. Please give generously as the Parachute Regiment Charity supports both serving and retired members of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne services, and assists the wounded and the families of those who are sadly taken from us during active service.
