Story
Hey everyone,
So four years after I last ran the Boroughs, I feel it's time to run again. It would be rude not to ;) A lot has gone on since that time, mainly with the health of my father. After years of suffering with liver disease he finally underwent the major operation of having a liver transplant, which thankfully was extememly successful and his new liver didn't reject.
But seeing him go through this and seeing first hand the great work the NHS do, I feel it's only right to give back to them to say little a thank you. Hence I'm running for the British Liver Trust.
Now I know I am in my Adopted home most of the time and many of you reading will be from this little country known as the US of A, and the money will be going overseas but it's all for a great cause and 100% of the money will go to the charity.
Also this time I'm going to add the extra challenge for myself because I can't have the exact same challenge as last time. So I'm going to try and run the 26.2 miles in under 3 hours. That's trying to run it 34 minutes quicker than the last time when I was only 26. So I think the extra effort to try and accomplish that is well worth a little donation.
Cheers
James x
