I appreciate times are hard for all of us, but there are many people experiencing far harder times than we are and this is why I am asking for you to support me with my fundraising for this challenge.
I have signed up together with 12 other Siemens colleagues to compete in the Prince's Trust Wild UK Challenge, sponsored by Capgemini. The challenge is to complete 100 miles in 3 days, the Siemens team will start beside the at in North Somerset, hike across Exmoor, kayak around and cycle through Devon before ending our journey with a sea swim on the south coast of . We will be competing against other teams to be the first across the line on .
The challenge takes place from 4th-6th September 2009. Each team member has a fundraising target of £1000 in sponsorship which could help one young person to completely turn their life around by enabling them to take part in TEAM. TEAM is the trust's 12-week self developement programme aimed at getting them into work, education or training.
100% of your donation goes to The Prince's Trust charity, as Capgemini are covering the event costs and Siemens are paying our entry fee.
The youth charity The Prince’s Trust helps change young lives in the . It gives practical and financial support, developing skills such as confidence and motivation.
