Story

I am taking on what some people say is the toughest Ironman course in the world to pay tribute to a courageous friend Michelle Mayne-Thomas,  who sadly passed away on the 9th August 2012 at the young age of 40. Michelle's positive attitude was an inspiration to everyone who knew her, she was so brave and kept smiling throughout her illness.

Michelle and her family received wonderful care and support from Ty Olwen and it is at Karl's request that all proceeds raised are given to this charity trust.

Thank you to all for your support and I completed Ironman Wales in 13 hours 22 minutes.
