Douglas Macmillan Hospice (Dougie Mac) is the only hospice in Staffordshire supporting Children, Young Adults & Adults. Care is given to patients who are living with a life-limiting illness at our two sites and in the community. We also provide support for patients families and their carers.

Story

Along with my friend Steve 'The Badger' Wilson, I'm running the Berlin Marathon in a few weeks time (20/09/09).

We are raising money for Douglas MacMillan Hospice who looked after Emma and Lucy's Dad when he was diagnosed with cancer.

Douglas Macmillan Hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults across North Staffordshire and bordering areas, who have cancer and other life limiting illnesses, completely free of charge . The Hospice needs to raise over £7 million each year and with no association with any national charity or organisation bearing a similar name, the Hospice is dependent upon the continuing generosity of our supporters.

Please give what you can.

Many thanks,

Jim & Steve
