Age UK and Barnardos give their support to the most vulnerable older and most vulnerable younger generations. I have pledged to raise money to share equally between both of these charities to help support their respective causes.

To do this I am climbing Yorkshires 3 Peaks in 12 hours. This is a total climb higher than Ben Nevis!

If I'm honest with myself I am not in great shape for this so I am also going to ensure I train for the 8 weeks prior to the challenge to ensure I am fit and ready. This isn't going to come easily to me so please help me stay motivated.

Should I see people giving to these great causes here it will go a great way towards giving me the drive I need to see this challenge through.
