As many of you know on May 19th last year, Reena and I welcomed our beautiful daughter Sofia into the world however sadly she was stillborn.

Shockingly we have since found out that we are far from alone, every day in the UK 17 babies are stillborn which is far too many in this day and age. SANDS is a charity that campaigns for Stillbirth and Neotnatal Death. They not only support parents through and following this traumatic time but just as importantly they research into why this happens in the hope that one day these figures will be reduced. The care we received from the hospital was all based on guidelines from SANDS and we have to say there was nothing we could fault.

The team at West Tomwich Albion have kindly organised a fantastic charity day on May 3rd 2015 to raise money in aid of SANDS and I hope many of you will be able to attend.

The main event will of course be a football match with West Tomwich Albion Vs the Wolves All Stars for the first half and the "James Gill 11" for the second half! 

The match will take place at Hednesford Football ground with gates opening at 12.00pm and kick off at 2.00pm.

Following the game, the club bar will be open, there will be food available, and there will be a raffle to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause. Local band Troubadour will also be playing on the evening so it really is well worth coming to what is going to be a great day for a great cause!

Tickets cost £4.00 for adults and children under 14 are free so a bargain for a day out at bank holiday weekend.
