16 years ago after losing his battle against a brain tumour, my dad passed away, in his final few weeks MacMillan nurses help him out during the nights to enable the rest of us to get some rest.

Until now i had never really said thankyou for all the support they gave my family during this difficult time.

The other week i received my usual weekly golfing updates where the longest day challenge was mentioned and it occured to me that this was my chance to give something back, all i needed was 3 other volunteers, thankfully they were not far away.

So on the 21st June 2012

and myself will be taking part in the challenge at The Chase Golf Course who have kindle agreed to allow us to use the course for the day FOC.

So if you knew my dad or if you know anyone else who has been helped by the great work that MacMillan do, please give what ever you can.
