Hi Everyone,

On the 16th of August, two friends and I will be doing the Three peaks Challenge.

The aim of the challenge is to hike up and down the three highest peaks in the UK ( Snowdon, in Wales, Scafell Pike, in the Lake District and Ben Nevis, in Scotland) in 24 hours! Driving time is within the 24hours. It will be difficult to get up and down each of the peaks in a strict 24hrs, especially as there will be some night walking involved at this time of year, so we will try our best but we won't think we have failed if we are just outside the target! My friends Dad has agreed to be our guide, and his Mum will be doing  the driving, while we try to get some rest.

The charity that we are raising funds for is AfricaLink. AfricaLink is a charity that focuses the funds raised towards an impoverished area of Mozambique so that we can build some of the bare essentials to improve the quality of life of the locals. It is a cause which has been supported by Oundle school for many years .

What we are able to build is very much determined by the amount of money that we raise. The three of us will be out in Mozambique next summer to put our fundraising efforts into practice , so any donation would be greatly appreciated.
