We're Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). We care for children throughout Scotland with life-shortening conditions and their families. We make sure that no matter how short their time together may be, it is filled with happiness. Even in the pain of grief, we're determined that joy lives on.

Story

A Race to End All Races....Which Team Will Emerge Victorious??

Departing at High Noon on May 31st 7 runners will race against 7 cyclists, the team with the lowest average time wins the prize that money cannot buy - the enduring jealousy and envy of the losers. With both teams starting simultaneously in Dunkeld, the runners will take the direct route of 14 miles via Logierait, whilst the cyclists will take the much more hilly, off-road route past Loch Ordie covering 21 miles. The finishing line for both teams is The Old Mill Inn, Pitlochry at approximately 2pm.....

Clearly, the cyclists have a much easier task, that is why I will be inspiring and cajoling, where necessary, my fellow runners in order to achieve the impossible dream.
