We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thanks for looking at my marathon sponsorship page, its a bit late in the making and there's a reason for it - mostly as I didn't think i'd registered with the NSPCC, but yesterday I recieved a a running pack so I felt a bit bad so I've decided to create this page and run for the NSPCC!

I chose the NSPCC as I've previously run for the Stroke Association and am running again later this year for them (see here), and not wanting to focus soley on one charity I thought that services such as childline and various other support groups are needed to support vunerable children so this charity would be a good charity to run for.

So, if anyone can spare any surplus cash I'd really appreciate it.

Those who dont know the Brighton Marathon is on the 18th April, and is a wonderfull 26.2 miles. Training has been okay if a bit patchy, I'm hoping I can complete in 3h30-4h, but I think its looking like its going to be slower since my recent knee injury I got last week! (annoying).

Thanks

James.
