BUPA Great North Run 2009 · 20 September 2009 ·

The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) is the UK’s leading charity representing and supporting half a million adults with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and children and young people with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), through our helpline, information services, research and campaigns.

Story

Thanks you for kindly visiting my page and donating for NRAS.

NRAS was launched in 2001 by a group of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) patients (including its present chief executive, Ailsa Bosworth), who saw a need to provide some focus and a voice for people with this misunderstood disease. "Arthritis" covers over 200 conditions.  Nearly half a million people suffer from RA with is the most common of the inflammatory arthritides and it should not be confused with osteoarthritis.  It is a painful, disabling autoimmune disease and has no known cause or cure.

Donation through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.  It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks,

James
