Story

On the 8th November I will be taking part in the 2nd Jordan Running Adventure Race. The race is set over 120 miles, run in one stage from Petra across the Wadi Rum Desert and finishing at the Dead Sea. All competitors are unsupported, carrying all their own food and equipment needed to complete the race within the 50 hour time limit. To put the distance in perspective, if I ran 120 miles out of London, I would end up roughly at Newark North Gate railway station! I will be the first British (Yorkshireman) competitor to take part in the event.

I am racing to raise money for two charities - FOAG and ZANE. I have covered all my racing costs personally, to ensure that all money raised will go directly to charity.

I would be very grateful for any support you are able to give.

Thanks

Jim
