Story

Made it to the end but it was much tougher than I imagined. My friends had to pull out half way because of injury. The terrain was tough and the weather was very hot during the first half which was draining to walk in and the ground was baked hard making it very damaging on the feet and legs. Also very difficult to get supplies as it was over desolate terrain with very few shops and most streams had dried out. Some days I only saw two or three people when walking a full 12-16 hours. Strangely the walk would sometimes go straight through a person’s garden even though it was the only house for miles. Glad I managed to complete it.

Please sponsor me to walk the Pennine Way over sixteen days between 22 April to 07 May 2011.
