The Nuts Challenge · 1 September 2018

Child Rescue Nepal frees children from slavery. We rescue children, keep them safe and reunite them with their families. Child Rescue Nepal has rescued over 1,000 children but our work is far from over. We want to end child slavery in Nepal and we won’t stop until every child is free.

Story

On Saturday, alongside colleagues, I completed the Nuts Challenge, a ‘tough mudder’ style obstacle course.

The delay in asking for sponsorship is that many of you doubted I would complete the course which I fully understood as I also had significant concerns. Having done so and possessing the bruises and cuts to prove it, I’d ask you to donate any amount possible to the wonderful cause we were running it for, Child Rescue Nepal.

Child Rescue Nepal is a charity that is dear to our hearts here at Saltus. We help sponsor one of their children’s homes in Kathmandu.

Child Rescue Nepal frees children from slavery. In Nepal there are almost 100,000 child slaves working in hazardous situations. These children are extremely vulnerable and often suffer from physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Child Rescue Nepal work to save these children, keep them safe and reunite them with their families. They have rescued 700 children so far but their work is far from over.

Members of our team visited Nepal to learn more about the charity’s amazing work and to meet some of the wonderful children that they have rescued. We will be visiting again this year to learn how the money we raise will further help the children there.

Please support us in raising as much money as possible for this fantastic cause!
