Llanberis MRT is one of the busiest in the UK with an annual callout rate of over 220 incidents. Based in and around the Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) area the team is made up of about 50 volunteers who are all experienced mountaineers. As a registered charity we rely entirely on your donations.

Story

This page was set up in memory of Ian Raeside, husband of Valerie (Sue) and father of Mark, James and Ben, who died on January 30th 2011. The family chose a mountain rescue service because our father always loved mountains and the great outdoors; and this particular charity in Snowdonia, because he spent many of his boyhood years in this part of Wales. His parents lived in Conwy after their retirement and he returned himself many times with various members of his family in order to climb and walk.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
