‘Mid Life Crisis’ – turning 40 is a dreadful business!  To ease the pain I have decided to do the Monaco 70.3 Ironman on 6 September.  For clarity, that is a 2Km swim, followed by a 90Km bike ride over the , finishing with a half marathon.  I thought that if I could haul my ever expanding frame around this course, you could surely give a little to a fantastic cause.  ‘The Gentleman’s Night Out’ raises money to give sick or disabled children a once in a lifetime experience, be it Disneyland, or of a more practical nature such as specialised wheelchairs.  Many of these children won’t get to see their next birthday let alone their 40.

So please dig deep ……

Regards Jim
