Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page . Well I was going to paddle an old windsurf board along the coast of North Devon covering about 70 miles but the great British weather has't quite cooperated this summer to give me a good window of calm weather . Instead I'm going to cycle from Harrogate back to Braunton in North Devon a distance of about 318 miles . I'm heading up there to pick up a new touring bike and cycle it home .

In 2006 Buddhafield bought 17 acres of gorgeous land in Dartmoor National Park called Frog Mill. It cost £85,000 and Buddhafield has done very well to pay off over £50,000 but there is still £35,000 to go. The land has a salmon spawning river, the Blackaton Brook flowing through it which is home to kingfishers, dippers and a host of other wildlife.

Buddhafield has a heartfelt desire to contribute to protecting land, and enabling people to build caring relationships with the earth that supports us. The need to preserve healthy soil and habitats where wildlife can thrive grows ever more urgent in our time. Frog Mill is a well loved piece of land that Buddhafield wants to fully own as soon as it can.
